# Year-End Resources to Get a Fundraising Win in 2021

October means that #GivingTuesday—the kickoff to year-end giving—is less than two months away.

Last year, donations raised on #GivingTuesday increased 25% over the previous year. What's more, donations overall were up by at least 6% in 2020, leaving fundraisers wondering if it's possible to keep the momentum going this year. 

 

With so much giving potential at play at year-end in 2021, we wanted to ensure hard-working fundraisers and nonprofit marketers like you had access to plenty of resources at your disposal. You'll notice a recurring theme here: segmentation. Studies show that [personalization has the potential to increase a donation](https://associationsnow.com/2017/11/personalization-pays-off-comes-fundraising/) by as much as 25%, so the more relevant and personal your messages at year-end, the better.
